Its better for the cars and us anyways, digital gauges are lighter and cooler than analog gauges so we get lighter cars, you can provide a lot more info about the car with digital gauges than with analog gauges without making the car look like a clock store inside the car. Just imagine this... a go kart with analog gauges instead of a digital display... you would need like 3 analog gauges to provide what one digital display could do. Classic is Classic, New is New.
