I think this is a pretty good comparison. The 2011 Stang (from the reviews I've read) is actually a capable sports coupe and with 31mpg (auto only) and 300hp it's a viable purchase for anyone looking for some $22k fun. Toyota is going to need to keep that, the Camero, Challenger, and Genesis Coupe in mind when pricing this car.

Power/weight is going to be Toyota's advantage, being almost 1000Lb lighter than the competition (fingers crossed). Lower weight makes up for the lower power and will also instantly turn into better handling which is my real concern.

Also, RWD Mini Cooper S is an excellent analogy. I'd buy one of those yesterday.
