Haven't seen an engine bay shot yet... since they still aren't releasing details, what you bet we don't see one.
This shot, however, is finally making the car look as small as a Mazda3 (which it is as small as):

So if the FT86 is in GT5, that means they know exactly what it's weight and power are (seeing as it's a sim) and those numbers will be released when the game is released. It might even be listed somewhere in that demo they have setup (or you could at lease time a 0-60 from it).

Choosing between a LF-A and the Ft-86 is nothing like the choice between the MKIV Supra and the Hachi Roku. The LF-A is a $375,000 sportscar that 99.999% of people will never have a chance of seeing let alone own given the limited production of 500 units. It has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN COMMON WITH A MKIV SUPRA other than it is made by Toyota. The supra may have been expensive but your average man could still get one at any Toyota dealer. At the time they were sold the MKIV Supra and the Hachi Roku were not the legendary cars that many now think they are. They were available at every dealer right along side camrys, corrollas, and celicas. The LF-A may as well be unobtainium as all 500 models are probably already spoken for. As far as everyday people are concerned the LF-A is a myth barely spoken about above a whisper in toyota fanboi chat rooms and occasional autorag comparos of other uber-rare hyper exotics. Just be happy you will be able to buy a $20k FT-86 with some LF-A styling cues because that's as close as you or I will ever come to a LF-A outside of an autoshow. Kinda difficult to decide, child please

This shot really puts the car in perspective as to how small the really is. Look at that front overhang there is no way a traditional Subaru AWD system is fitting in that car. If the subie version is going to be AWD they are going to have to drastically change the front end of this car.
